Compared to other roofing materials, shingles don’t last long which is why this material’s warranty is also shorter. It can last for at most 50 years, depending on the material and how well you maintain it, and depending on how weather changes from time to time. 3. Weather-resistance
During the cold days, it can be easily brittle and if water is present, moisture can penetrate your material which will cause it to warp.
